Yorkshire 3 Peaks in support of Railway Children
Several members of our team are gearing up to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 8 May 2026 in support of Railway Children. Training is officially underway, and the team is excited to take on this incredible challenge!

Inaugural Gala Dinner
We were thrilled to deliver the Inaugural Gala Dinner on 26 March 2026 at Vaillant Live, Derby, in support of Bridge The Gap — a Derby-based community interest company providing early-intervention mental health services and emotional literacy support to hundreds of children and families each month.
With over 400 guests, £35,842 raised to launch their Family Support Fund, and 99.8% positive sentiment, it was a truly special evening with purpose.

Forces in Rail Sponsorship
With the rail industry facing a growing skills gap, Enigma Seven was proud to sponsor the Forces in Rail table at IMechE and support military talent while helping showcase rail as a rewarding long-term career.
We recognise the significant value that service leavers and veterans bring to the rail industry. The armed forces equip people with transferable skills such as discipline, leadership, teamwork and the ability to perform under pressure, alongside engineering expertise.

In January 2026, Enigma Seven sponsored a children’s football team, using the opportunity to promote Bridge The Gap and the vital work they do supporting children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. In October 2025, Enigma Seven sponsored Hasland Community Football Club’s Under 14 Girls with a race evening and over £750 towards pitch hire, base layers of clothing and referee fees.

Beacon Rail’s 5-a-side Charity Tournament 2025
In September 2025, Enigma Seven returned to defend our title at Beacon Rail’s annual 5-a-side football tournament, supporting the fantastic work of Railway Children and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. While we didn’t manage to retain the trophy, we put in a strong performance and came away with a respectable fourth place! A great day networking and helping to raise funds for such an important cause.

In March 2025, we had a fantastic evening at Manchester Cathedral raising awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK as part of Business Beats Cancer Manchester.

Beacon Rail’s 5-a-side Charity Tournament 2024
In September 2024, Enigma Seven proudly took part in Beacon Rail’s 5-a-side charity tournament at Powerleague Shoreditch, co-sponsored by GB Railfreight. Enigma Seven emerged victorious following a thrilling final in the Eiro 2024 themed tournament. Over £20,000 was raised through the annual 5-a-side for Railway Children and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

Fundraising for Children's Charity
In April 2024, Shane ran his furthest distance, taking on the Manchester Marathon to support Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. Shane was inspired by his friends Dan and Lisa and their amazing daughter Emillie, who has undergone 14 heart surgeries. We are very proud of Shane for completing the marathon and raising £11,425 for CHSF. Shane thanks his friends, family, and industry colleagues for their support!
