We’re growing rapidly and looking for a talented Procurement Services Consultant to help us elevate our ability to provide procurement services to customers.
As a Procurement Services Consultant, you will deliver projects for clients across the rail sector from freight operators, train operators and supply chain. This could involve administration of tender processes, reviewing terms and conditions, mapping of processes, development of specifications and delivering soft market testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to develop specifications to go to the market
- Develop tender documents for customers
- Review and make recommendations on Terms and Conditions
- Present recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to a culture of learning and curiosity.
Required Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a procurement role
- Public Sector procurement experience
- Fluent in Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyse complex data to make recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
- Working towards MCIPS
Desirable:
- Experience working within the Procurement Act 2023
- Experience within the railway
- MCIPS qualified
